I believe that parents will be more aware of how their attention/inattention affects their children if we will all dare to step into the mind of the young lady who is the main character in this book.I also see this book as being filled with affirmation and kudos to those adults who went without the essential parent-child bonding and built a bright future for themselves regardless.
